Netflix and Martin Scorsese (“Boardwalk Empire”) are reuniting after working together on the mobster event film “The Irishman,” with the beloved filmmaker executive producing the Las Vegas-set casino series “The Roman,” which will be led by actor Oscar Isaac (plays Bobby Red, the casino president at The Roman), as the streaming service has announced more additions to the show’s cast.
Those names confirmed from an announcement made by Netflix yesterday include Betty Gilpin (“Nurse Jackie,” “GLOW”) in the role of Bobby’s formidable wife, Marla Blake, and Alec Baldwin (“The Departed”) taking on the part of Primo, a father figure to Bobby.
