After spending years in development as a potential Disney+ series, “Nova” is finally being reworked as a feature film. Marvel Studios has tapped Michael Waldron to write the long-gestating cosmic superhero project, though no director, star, or release date has been announced.

Waldron has become something of Kevin Feige’s go-to screenwriter, screenwriter, having created “Loki” and written “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
